This story has bookends placed roughly around 1890, after Doc

Didja Notice?
On page 4 of the story, Needles appears to be driving the
same Ford pick-up truck he will be driving at the end of
Back to the Future Part III.
On page 6 of the story, it's revealed that Doc has a secret
workshop in addition to his regular one behind the Burger
King on John F. Kennedy Drive. This is where he did most of
the work on the DeLorean to keep it hidden from Marty until
the proper time.
On page 8 of the story, Marty plays the arcade video game
Wild Gunman at what must be
7-11. The game was seen
in
Back to the Future Part II
and he implied that he learned to play it at 7-11 in
Back to the Future Part III.
When she finds him playing Wild Gunman, Jennifer
says, "Nice shooting, Clint," referring to actor Clint
Eastwood, well-known for his western gunslinger roles in
films. Of course, Marty will go on to use the name as his
alias in the Old West of 1885 in
Back to the Future Part III.
Needles pretends he's going to buy a bag of Snacky Chips at
the 7-11. There is an actual brand of potato chips by this
name now, but I'm not sure it existed when this issue was
published.
On page 12, Marty uses the same Rube Goldberg trap (with a
modified finale) on Needles that Marty himself had been
caught in when he broke into Doc's garage in
"When Marty Met Emmett".
When Marty realizes Doc has a car under a tarp in his
workshop that he is keeping secret, he asks Doc, "Is it a
flying car or something?", foreshadowing what the DeLorean
time machine will become when a hover-conversion is done on
it in 2015.
On page 14 of the story, Marty and Jennifer are seen to have
gone to a Clint Eastwood/Sergio Leone triple feature. This
would be the three so-called Man With No Name films (the
only ones Eastwood and Leone did together), A Fistful of
Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, and The
Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
